everything is new. i rode on a double decker bus in the front seat on the top level. it was like a video game. but in german. this strange junge with silly schuhe hung out with us at the bus stop before hand and followed us up to the top and sat next to us. we did not exchange a word for the 20 minutes we were in a fair range of distance. oh, and i was not alone, i had a friend. we had tried to go meet another person that i did not know but couldn't find the building. we took the subway to get there from the hotel. it's funny, they don't make you swipe a card or anything to get on. you just get on the u-bahn with no card. i heard that sometimes they check for your cards, but thats only sometimes. thats the same way it was with the bus, no cards. i've seen the west now i'll see the east.
tschüssi (
that's weird, i put a less than sign next to that parentheses and typed a phrase and it made it invisible. anyways, the phrase was "thats my favorite way to say goodbye in german."
